Studio Barn

In our Studio Barn, you will see sets which were used in many of the shows we filmed for Walt Disney Studios.

From 1962 to the early 1970's, Disney filming was done at the Farm and in the vicinity with incredibly good luck.   Lloyd was called away at one point when "Those Calloways," was being filmed in Vermont, ran into trouble.  They brought it to the Farm and finished it here.  This happened on several other films, and the Disney Studios were quite happy with the results.

After Walt Disney's death in 1965, the Disney Studios began to get away from making nature films, which are what Lloyd and Catherine Beebe were involved in shooting.

In 1972, they opened Olympic Game Farm to the public, with only a walking tour.  The cost for the original walking tour through the studio barn was $1.00!

Also in the Studio Barn is a cut from one of the oldest trees on the Olympic Peninsula.  This tree dates back to well before the time of Christopher Columbus!

You may also observe birch bark canoes in the Studio Barn.
